technically itīs totally sound and feasible. volkswagen 
has a lot of interesting off-the shelves parts to 
combine, the biggest problem usually being that serial 
clutches canīt stand the torque their motors might put 
out. personally iīd put the engine and drive train in a 
station wagon or, even better, tinker with a volkswagen 
van, but hey, tastes are different.
