RE: Tombraider question

There have been a number of threads on www.hkpro.com about Angelina Jolie's
HK USP.

thread:
http://ubb.hkpro.com/ubb/Forum7/HTML/001268.html

"Saw the June issue of "Starlog" sci-fi magazine at the newstand tonight and
Angelina is on the cover with both USP's crossed in front of her. The shot
of the guns and her is so close up you can make out the date code and serial
number of one gun.

KH date code with serial number of 24 054xxx and the caliber marking of
9mmx19."

The starlog page is: http://www.starlog.com/upcoming_287.htm#

My eyes aren't good enough to read the serial number without enlarging the
picture a lot. Your eyes might be better.

The basic gun is a 9 mm USP Match (which isn't available in the US for those
who care) that was modified.

thread:
http://ubb.hkpro.com/ubb/Forum4/HTML/002104.html

"As you can see, the compensator, adjustable trigger, and match sights are
from the Match, but the mag baseplate/well is from an Expert, then the slide
lock lever is something I have never seen."

The slide lock is extended and reversed to allow left handed release. The
USP uses a push down to release magazine release, which would not require
modifications. As Erik S. pointed out, the USP safety/decocker was designed
to be adapted to either left or right handed shooters.
