(1)  'Choose Your Own Adventure' is a series of solo roleplaying books
for kids.  Each book starts out with an introduction, then as possible
actions occur, the player is directed to a different page or paragraph to
continue.

(2)  I have set this email up as a 'Choose Your Own Adventure' example.

(3)  At this point, you can choose to read further, or you can choose to
delete the message.  If you choose to read further, go to (4)  If you
choose to delete the message, go to (7)

(4)  As you progress through the adventure, you are given more and more
choices.  These lead you through the book, which typically has about 150
paragraphs, and three or more endings. 

(5)  Each paragraph advances the plot, and ends by either directing you
to another paragraph, or giving you a choice of actions.  Go to (6)

(6)  If you are ready to start writing your own 'Choose Your Own
Adventure', go to (8).  If you're bored with this, go to (7)

(7)  Hit 'delete' on your email program and remain forever ignorant of
what a 'Choose Your Own Adventure' is.

(8)  Save this email as a (poor) example of a 'Choose Your Own
Adventure'!!  Go to (9).

(9)  Come up with a plot and some NPCs.

(10)  Pick at least one good outcome (success) and at least two bad
outcomes (failures)

(11)  Write an outline of each separate story.

(12)  Break the story up into paragraphs.  Offer at least two subsequent
paragraphs for each choice in action.

(13) Send a copy to the List for critique!  <G>
