It is easy.  You get the models in the smallest scale
that is easy to work with.  Then you glue it all
together.  When you're done, you get one of those
"rubber grip dip" solutions in a color that you want. 
DIP.  This seals everything up so that no small parts
are easy to get off and swallowed.  Get small eyebolts
and string it all up.
