Did any of you catch the 60 minutes piece of cobras?
turns out there is an outfit in southern cal with two flying mil spec cobras
and enough bits and pieces to build 4 more i think it was.  It was amazing
when the film crew walked into the back of the hangar and got a look at all
the pallets of stuff.  i noticed both rockets and belts of 20 mm on pallets.
seems the usg was a tad sloppy about disposing of a large number of cobras
some time back and these lads were able to acquire large amounts of "scrap"
which they then put back together.  They had a chap who flew cobras with them
and he said they sure looked mil spec to him including the wpns.
