Re: 40 mm grenades and wire reinforced glass



For purposes of penetration with a hi-low pressure
40mm round, I imagine it working like this.

Can you throw a baseball hard enough to break through
the glass?

If the answer is yes, then the 40mm round will likely
be able to break through.

If the answer is no, then it might crack the glass,
but not punch through.

This is my thought on it.

I think there are many 37mm (or is it 38mm?) law
enforcement flashbangs.  I don't see why you couldn't
have a 40mm flashbang.

I can't think of any manufacture that does this, but
it is not impossible (and probably likely) for
something like this to exist.
