I came across a request for information on the Saab-Bofors PDW.   Does
anyone have any information on the system?

Found it.  February 2001 issue of Guns & Weapons for Law Enforcement has a
short article on the Saab-Bofors CBJ-MS PDW.  Appearance is along the lines
of the Steyr MPi69 or Ruger MP9.  Forward handgrip is angled slightly to the
rear and can be used to store a spare magazine.  Very basic wire sliding
stock.  Wierd black knob on the rear of the receiver is the plunger style
charging handle.  Tritium illuminated front and rear sights and a picatinney
rail for optical sights.  Progressive trigger for semi and fullauto at 575
rpm.  Magazine capacity of 20,30 or 100 (drum).

Length (stock retracted):  14.52 inches
Length (stock extended):  22.06 inches
Weight (unloaded):  5.9 pounds
Weight (30 rds of 6.5mm):  6.3 pounds

Caliners are 9mm or 6.5mm CBJ interchangeable by simply switching the barrel.
Action is blowback, open breach with a fixed firing pin.  The 6.5x25mm CBJ
is an aluminum-cased, saboted, light armor penetrating round.  No bullet
weight listed, but muzzle velocity is 2,689 fps.
