I've shot the LDA Para Ordnance pistols both in double-stack and single
column format, and they are good. But there is a perceptible difference
between LDA and true single action. They are excellent pistols though and I
intend on purchasing one of the double stacks in the near future.

As a further note on the Springfield side they have recently introduced the
1911A1 Operator with built in Picatinny rails, just perfect for your
Surefire. You can bet that build quality and reliability are right up there
with the very best.
