Why are you limiting your choice of .45s?

Is it that you want a "replica" or is it that you feel
that the M1911 is a good design, but don't want to pay
for an expensive Colt?

I personally carry a Glock 36.

Stay away from the Taurus.  I've used them.  They have
a great lifetime warrenty, but they actually need the
warrenty because they suck.  Go to
http://www.nlectc.org/ and you can see how some of the
Taurus have failures under testing.
