Funny thing is we both did the same thing as well. My wife says big dumb bovines and landmines whats not to laugh at. Come to think of it she cacked herself when they fed the cow to the bug in Starship Troopers. She thinks its the cartoon nature of it.

It must be a chick thing, my wife is the same about cruelty to animals.......except for in Three Kings when that cow hit the landmine we both hit the floor laughing.

      My girlfriend is liek that too, any movie violence to animals REALLY
offends her.  Maybe that's why we don;t see any people walking into a barn
with guns and pipe bombs.  Maybe what we need is more animal killing on TV
and less people killing.  LOL
