There is no such thing as standard issue.  Local police are most likely to be
packing PM, PSM, or AKSU.  No spare ammo issued.  Privately purchased or
"sponsored" weapons are incouraged, so be prepared for anything.  Interior
Ministry personnel can be packing almost anything as they have access to
limited production models (from Ministry owned companies) and western
weapons.  PM and PMM are more likely than the PSM, but you can also expect
OTs-23, 27, or 33s.  Toss in any of the MP-series pistols and long arms that
are carried as standard, and almost anything can be encountered.  Have some
fun and throw all sorts of stuff at them.
