Most likely counter groups returning the favor for an attack on the leader
Ahmed Shah Massoud.  US has officially denied involvement and the attack
doesn't seem to be more than a local missile attack on an Taliban ammo dump.

CNN is reporting there were explosions were seen and heard over Kabul,
Afghanistan, as of 1730 central time US.
