[(we) sorry,] the federal german forces use the mg3
(thatīs a mg42 in 7.62mm) with factory-reduced rof (the
setting can be undone if you know the trick handed down
by generations of ncos), one spare barrel, one case of
belted ammo and some other small supplies and itīs a
fucking mass of metal you are carrying.
some idiots who saw to many bad movies fire them from
the hip for show, but there is no front handle at all so
the whole pose is quite unstable (or the left hand emits
the sweet smell of burned skin and flesh after some
seconds).
not to mention serious wear and tear on the spine...
