What kinds of magazines do you want? Gun magazines are
a dime a dozen. There are some really good
professional lawe enforcment publications out there,
like

Criminology, penology and police science abstracts
Deutsche Polizei
Gazette : a Royal Canadian Mounted Police publication
International police review
Interpol
Law and order
National Institute of Justice : journal
Police
Policing today

I also suggest you check out these links:

Being a nice charming person I can get those on loan,
but I don't know how easy they are to find in other
countries.

Other good magazines are:

Newsweek (While not as good as Reuters/AFP/AP or the
venerable New York Times, good nontheless on getting
an idea on the world political situation)

Backpacker (this one is one of the best I have found
ment for hikers by hikers, the gear reviews and the
articles are all top rate)

Popular Mechanics (Of questionable use, highky
popularistic with poorly written articles)

Aviation Week (known as aviation leak, most articles
are professinally made and not a popularistic
magazine)
