It's my experience that a mailing list where OT posts are absolutely forbidden, 
is not a fun one to be on. IMO, the kinds of OT threads you want to forbid, as 
an admin, are those that are guaranteed to get out of hand: RL religious, 
cultural and political ones being the main problem areas.
