Re: American income?

Cops: varies greatly depending on where in the US you work. I know a couple
of narcotics officers who get paid $22,000 a year, which is not anywhere
_near_ what they should get paid. At the other end of the spectrum, senior
officers in major cities can get $100,000 a year or more.

McDonald's, figure $7/hr. Although minimum wage is lower, McDonald's
typically offers more than minimum wage (as do most other fast-food
businesses--minimum-wage work is hard to find).

Bank tellers, figure $7/hr, or $20,000/yr for a salaried full-time position.
Bank executives get paid much more.

Federal agents get paid a varying scale based on seniority, division and
branch. Supreme Court justices get paid about $150,000/yr; FBI field agents,
probably in the $30,000 range.
