halo wouldn't seem to allow a great deal of gliding potential as you
fall rather quickly down to minimum altitude in 4 to 6 minutes depending
on your jump altitude. If you want to be able to cover ground a haho
jump is the way to go. Canadian pathfinders routinely get 50 km down
range before touching down.
