I have been looking about the web and came across the web site for Taurus, they
have a nice looking .45ACP (10+1) compact in Blued finish MSRP USD477.00 or in
Stainless for USD492.00. If you are feeling flush they also have a titanium
model coming out as well. I know, I know it is not a colt clone, but it is in
.45ACP. I have only used a Taurus once and then only got familiarized and then
carried for three weeks before turning it in. It worked well enough for me, it
was no SIG or Walther, but it was a decent pistol. If you have your heart set on
a Colt Design or even Manufacture then please disregard this message. If you are
simply looking for a .45ACP platform, then go take a look at
