FWIW, I agree with Roger's decision; I've seen this thread happen plenty
of times on other mailing lists, and all it ever degenerates into, is a
flame war. The only way to prevent that, and the bruised egos/feelings
afterward, tends to be that some admin type tells people to stop posting on
the subject. The unsub warning is, for a small minority of listmembers,
often the only thing they'll respond to...
