Hey, please don't start this thing! Please! I really can't say that Imperial

No offence to anyone...

Here are some MG (& accessory) weights in metric, they may differ from Mr. Thomas' & Mr. Pawlowski's weights somewhat, but this is due to the differences in literature and/or the examples our various sources examined. When it comes right down to it, use Mr. Thomas' data, as his examples were used to calculate the values for the weapons on his (extremely useful, in my opinion) tables. I shall include the weight of the bipods in the Weapon Weight, where able, all other items shall be listed separately, unless noted. As it is, while compiling this list my sources differed by as much as 1.2kg for some of these examples! There are several holes (as you can see) and if anybody has the missing info, please feel free to add it to the group. I hope I have been of assistance.

*We have Jane's Firearm Recognition Guide & Compendium of Modern Firearms to thank for these values*

PS: In the .50 M2HB man port we discussed earlier, I forgot to add the weight of the tripod, which, with the weapon and 600rds would have tallied up to around 145kg (~320lbs)!
