Iron bombs does not mean they were "dumb". GBU and JDAM are simple bolt on kits, so a B-52 with a load of 1000-pound iron bombs could very easily be smart(er). Rolling Thunder with loads of Mk82s does have its appeal. Either way, the iron is hitting home. Can MC-130s dropping BLU-82s be far behind?
