Australia has joined the ranks of countries fielding .50 caliber sniper rifles in infantry units. They have recently signed a contract for nearly 200 AW-50s for infantry and special operations units. Toss in S&B scopes, Lieca LFRs, and Swarovski spotting scopes and we are talking a pretty penny.
