But doesn't this mean that, with equal tannin, a low-power optic, gives you an edged. Wood you turn down an edge if you where the commander? Of cores there is some money issues. The prize of sad optic, versus the prize of training. Witch's I won't speculate about. I will just add that the Danish arm at opted too issue a low-power optic (x3.4) with its new rifle. (a modified M16. I thing it nerd number is Colt A2C7, but I am not a 100 %). And it is a source of envy whenever we visit other army's. It is also good for scouting, since it means that every body has a low-power binocular, too.

I agree completely.

With regard too mag drive weapons:

If all the valid teck trouble that has bin raised here wore too be solved, wood it not be possibly too use small variations in the magnetic field and very small flichete too produce a close range shotgun type wound, at ANY distance. Especially if you either input the distance too target as per ordinary sights, or with an automatic range finder. - Witch wood properly take some more tenkno-wizardry too completely automate.

A point on armour penetration:
If you have to bullets with equal energy the lower calibre will have the best armour penetration, Simply because it has too make the smallest hole. It of course also helps to be vary pointy.

What this means in regard to energy transfer with in the target I don't know. Wounding ballistics is hole field in it own right.
