Since you're online, you can request copies of
existing floorplans at your local courthouse.  I know
that in my county, floorplans have to be registered
and documented, even for residential buildings.  I
don't know what it costs to do this, however.

There are also FREE sources of housing floorplans from
companies trying to custom build houses.

The GM companion is still great, because I don't have
any experience with ships.
