Don't know the format, but here is the outline of the adventure I am working on for an upcoming session.  Nothing that has not been done on any number of cop shows, but with the Elizabeth Smart kidnapping and others, seems like a timely subject.

Grandmother hires cell to find missing granddaughter

Mother and Father say daughter is not missing, but attending summer camp out of state.

Check of camp turns up no daughter.  Why would the parents lie?

Father in property business, some implications of organized crime ties.  False leads.

Mother in banking and owes lots of money to badguys for gambling losses (reversal of normal TV formula).

Badguys holding daughter to insure mother helps with robbery.

Grandmother does not want parents implicated in crimes.

Characters need to crack father, track down badguys, rescue daughter and foil robbery.
