... damagecalc now has a patch to fix this bug.  Basically, if adding a 
wound would ever cause a decrease in shock, stun and/or impairment, it 
keeps the old shock, stun, and/or impairment.

Hopefully we can agree that this is an acceptable deviation from the core 
ME rules.  As I said, I want to keep the back-end as canonical as 
possible, but I don't think that desire extends so far as to overlook 
Murphy's Rules.
