Hmm, but you still need to get your 1s and 0s in the
right order. Also, your physical FATs will be in 20
seperate chunks. The whole thing is even worse if
you've butchered several bits and mixed the pieces up.
I have no idea where the remaining bits of storage
were carted off to... they went off with other
'disposed of' classified material... somewhere safe, I
hope.
Shattered platters need someone good at jigsaws =)

Each piece of material was always degaussed 3 times.
Can't remember the tesla strength, but the thing was
heavy and ran hot... and screwed up anything magnetic
remotly nearby. It was DoD issue, so I assume it was
man enough for the job. When we were getting rid of
our old data libraries we had a ton of work to do and
had to record every last bit of it.
