 yes, yes i know, but the "rules" don't adust for bullet drop from extreme
ranges....yes, a .50 bullet from a barret is "effective" to that range,
meaning that it still has enough energy to penetrate and damage, but the
bullet is not at the same height as wehn fired, over distances that bullet
drops.......each caliber and barrel combo is different, but you can make some
generic assumptions so as not to slow down combat.
     What i am saying is that if you take a headshot with your barret at
1200m and hit perfect on target, then zoom back and take a headshot at a
different range, the point of impact can differ by as little as 1mm to as
large as 30cm.  Scopes are only as unbalancing as you let them be.
