Re: power armor.  There was a novel called _Tin Man_ which /almost/ did
power armor believably.  Dale Brown did some good research, but he still
wound up making some serious physics brainos, particularly where explosive
concussion as applied to power armor is concerned.

The movie _Freejack_, where there's a sound of a hammer being cocked.  Pan
the camera around: Emilio Estevez is holding a gun on someone.

Problem: the gun is a Glock 17.

No hammer.
