It all depends on what you're used to. I grew up in
Austin, Texas, USA. We get nasty heat and humidity.
When I moved to Houston, TX, which is even worse, I
got used to it. I had to drive two hours in traffic
(each way) in my car, with no Air Conditioning, to get
to and from work, while in Houston. This was through
April to August.

Now that I'm living outside of DC, everyone complains
about how hot the weather is and how bad the humidity
is. A co-worker, from Tallahassee, FL, and I both
laugh. The dreaded 85/85 (Fahrenheit/Humidity) in
Virginia is just that laughable when you were intimate
with 95/95 or 100/100. (This is 35-37C for everyone
outside of the US.)

On the idea of training, the Dallas Cowboy Football
team trains in Austin, TX. They train in the heat and
humidity of summer so that when they play games in
other parts of the country, the weather is not a
factor. I think that if people were forced to wear
heavy loads of body armor and the kit, with a rifle,
and they did it day in and day out, you'd get quite
accustomed to it.
