  In all fairness to both sides you should realize that most cops are not
trained to deal with riots.  Most of them are plain jane street cops given
(if they are lucky) a few hours of riot control training and then thrust into
the middle of things.  It's pretty easy to lose it when someone tries to hurt
you or your buddies and some of those protesters were pretty obviously just
looking to break things and hurt people.

  The people organizing the protests need to shoulder a lot of the blame for
what happened imho.  It's possible to protest without having the events be
hijacked by goons.
