When I first started, I had a very good handle on HTML, since I was editing
in text.  I still remember enouigh to get by.  The nice thing with an editor
is the matching of tags, ease of buildign tables and so on.  I don't do too
many fancy things, so a simple text HTML editor is probably fine.
