Afghanistan shares a small border with China, along the Silk Road, and while the area is firmly under Northern Alliance control, there has to be some adventure ideas there.  Could be a local Taliban leader and Northern Alliance faction leader are working together smuggling opium into China, or fuel/armament smuggling from China into Afghanistan.  Could be the Chinese are trying to smuggle dud US ordnance out of Afghanistan for study (JSOW, JASSM or JDAM would do the trick) and the US wants it stopped without alienating the Northern Alliance.

An aid agency relief convoy could be jacked along the Pakistan/Afghan border and the cell is hired to recover it.  Not like an aid agency would have the money to hire a BE cell to recover a load of wheat, but if the load was a cover for CIA supplies and the aid agency, using CIA supplied funds, wants it recovered so there is no evidence to ruin their good name or work.  You could have Pakistan, Taliban, NA, CIA and international reporters all running around complicating things.

For another angle, BlackEagle could be hired to get HUMINT on smuggling along the Afghan/Iranian border.  Have the operatives running boring OPs and covert cargo checks when the NSA gets wind of a shipment of satelite phones being smuggled into Taliban territory and has the operatives covertly replace them with "special" phones.
